Sky TV is New Zealand’s leading entertainment company. The television station brings the stories of the world, exciting sports broadcasts and movies to over 700,000 Kiwi customers.
SKY Television has always been a fast-growing network. The company purchased a building from another station, but it did not serve Sky Television’s ever-changing needs. What’s more, Sky TV needed to form a relationship with an HVAC company they could trust.
Econair designed and installed the systems for a large call centre and telemarketing room. We implemented a roof-top packaged unit to meet Sky TV’s needs. We fitted this system with an economiser to reduce ongoing energy costs. Following that project, we performed several alterations in the offices. When the building’s roof was replaced, we removed and reinstated the roof-mounted air conditioning equipment.
Econair and Sky Television’s relationship now spans more than ten years. We meet their ongoing HVAC service and maintenance needs. We performed several modifications, including the replacement of a compressor on the central water chiller with a different model.
